The image matters. The feeling behind it matters more.

About Vertige
Vertige is an independent creative studio founded by Liz Destoop, based in Berlin and working worldwide. The studio works across creative direction, brand campaigns and graphic design, helping ambitious brands turn ideas, identities and products into distinctive visual worlds.
The name Vertige, French for vertigo, reflects the feeling at the centre of the studio: that moment when an image, idea or atmosphere shifts your perception and draws you somewhere unexpected.
The work is guided by a simple belief: brands do not only sell products. They sell feelings, identities, freedom, belonging and desire. Vertige gives those invisible ideas a visible form.
I did not arrive at creative direction through a traditional path.
Before founding Vertige, I studied psychology and law, two disciplines that taught me to look closely at people, perception, decision making and the structures shaping how we behave.
I was interested in what makes people pay attention. What creates desire. Why certain images remain in the mind while others disappear almost immediately.
Creative direction became the place where those questions could meet visual instinct, storytelling and technology.
Today, I move between strategy and intuition, structure and imagination, concept and detailed execution. I look at the entire world surrounding an idea: how it looks, how it speaks, what it makes people feel and whether every element truly belongs together.
I founded Vertige because I wanted to create work with more depth, intention and emotional impact, not simply more content.
The aim is always to make something beautiful. But beauty alone is not enough. The work should carry an idea, create a reaction and leave something behind.
Concept before decoration.
Before deciding how something should look, I define what it should communicate and what people should feel.
Emotion as a creative material.
Colour, typography, imagery, composition and language are not separate choices. Together, they shape perception and build desire.
One world, not disconnected assets.
A strong project should feel coherent across every expression, from its central concept to its smallest application.
Technology with human direction.
New visual tools expand what can be imagined and produced. Taste, judgement and creative intention determine what is worth making.
